We heard about El Gaucho from my sister’s friend on Facebook. Called at the last minute and was lucky enough to secure a reservation. We ran into many people coming in and leaving who were raving about the amazing steak here! I have to agree with all of them! We had a fantastic meal with a shared pitcher of Sangria. Our meal was delicious, and although our server was a little slow with service, our meal was thoroughly enjoyable and very reasonably priced based on Aruban fine dining prices. Some ladies we chatted with as we came in were here for the third time THIS WEEK! I can see why! This is a must visit restaurant in Aruba!
My wife and I visited El Gaucho while on our Honeymoon in June 2001. The steak was so delicious is almost melted in my mouth. To this day, I have never had a steak come close to being as good. Can not wait to return.
My husband John and I ate here on our honeymoon, 20 years ago and LOVED IT!!! We have been back many times since and are now returning for our 20 year anniversary!! Thanks for the delicious memories EL GAUCHO!!!! Can’t wait to see you in April!
Been here for 9 years now….always excellent food and service. tonight was different story. 40th wediing anniversary. Sat in the room just past the entrance for the first time. Very loud and out of character with the big green wall. Steak was over cooked. Next year will certainly think twice about booking with you. very disappointed with the experience.
what an incredible time we had! this was our choice for the last dinner in aruba before heading home to ny and we were blown away by the service and the delicious food!!!! first of all the “waiting area” was incredible! we have definitely never seen anything like it and are looking forward to coming back! those empanadas were out of this world! thank you!!!!!
10 visits to Aruba, and even more visits to El Gaucho. Simply the best.
Ill be back in June to add a few visits to that total!
I’ve been to a lot of good restaurants & I must say this one is right up there w the best of them food wise. The steak was delicious! Can’t wait to go back!
There is nothing better than the gaucho steak. Well maybe the gaucho steak dripping in your famous chimichurri sauce. Been coming every year for 15 yrs…hopefully will be coming many more!

WHAT A WAY TO CELEBRATE 20 YR ANNIVERSARY ,THE STEAK WAS THE BIGGEST AND THE BEST , MY LOVELY WIFE ANNA LOVED IT, THE FRIED CHEESE CAKE WAS THE BEST EVER .THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES, HOPE TO RETURN SOON .
