I can honestly say WITHOUT A DOUBT that I had the best steak Ive ever had in my life at El Gaucho… The food is exquisite, and the ambiance was very romantic. There are 2 guys walking around with guitars, and they sing to tables…. they take requests, and honestly, it was the most romantic moment we had on our trip. My gf teared up… I cant ait to go back on January!!!

My wife and I were in Aruba for our honeymoon during the week of September 7th 2008. After being recommended to “go to El Gaucho’s…twice” by Eddie Andelman, we indeed went to El Gaucho’s…twice. The experience was otherworldly and the steak, simply sublime. When we find ourselves back in Aruba, no doubt soon, celebrating our anniversary, we’ll be going back to El Gaucho’s…twice…or three times…or four times…

I have to say that this was he BEST dining experience of my life. From the friendly atmosphere and professionalism when we arrived, to the UNBELIEVABLE taste of the food! Our server Oslin Urolijk made it an unforgettable night! The Sangria was the best I have ever had, and the steak actually melted in my mouth. The live music added a great touch of romance. I would urge EVERYONE who has the opportunity to dine there!! Cannot wait to go back!

We went to El Gaucho one night (on my parents recommendation) and it was everything we expected and so much more! I just went to Aruba for the 1st time 2 weeks ago. I was there with friends and family that had been to Aruba. The begining of are week we all sat down to figure out dinner plans for the week. El Gaucho was on everyones mind.Well it happend to be where we eat the 2nd night, it was fantanic from the food to the service. I had the Porterhouse 28 oz steak.(wow)….If you like steak make sure you make it there.

My boyfriend and I had the PLEASURE of eatting in your establishment in August of this year. We were told by friends to try your resturant as soon as we arrived. We arrived in Aruba on a Friday night and ate dinner that Sunday night. Well…we enjoyed it SO MUCH that we ate there the last night of our vacation…mostly because we wanted to have the flavors of your food on our taste buds to take home on the plane. Henry and I love to cook but we also like to eat out. We have never had a resturant stick in the back of our minds as yours has. Your sauces woke up taste buds in our mouths that we didn’t know existed!! I look forward to coming back in the future!

Comments = El Gaucho, what a wonderful place to have an outstanding dinner. Had dinner 3 times while there in Aruba. Michelle, loved the 12oz Filet, while I enjoyed the Ribeye and El Gaucho (16oz Filet). Our server, Jay Jay, is a great addition and recommend his services. If you have never tried Sweetbread, I highly recommend this appetizer. Michelle, who never had it, was completely blown away by the taste and texture (velvetly). Let you in on a little secret, after dinner go across the street to Garufa, El Gaucho’s “waiting” room, for cocktails, cigars & entertainment. Please ask for Jander (pronounced Yonder) as your server and let Nelson mix you up perfect cocktails. Please enjoy the experience as Michelle and I did.

My husband and I have been going to El Gaucho since our first visit to Aruba many years ago. For the past two years we have had the opportunity to be served by Oslin. We wanted to let the management staff know that he is a great asset to your company. He was so polite and always right there to accommodate our needs. During our last stay at Aruba, between the dates of January 8 through January 15 we made sure to recommend El Gaucho and Oslin to other people visiting the island. We are from northern New York State, USA, and your restaurant was highly recommended by many of our friends before we left for our trip. I have been visiting the island many years and had neglected to come in for dinner for several years. Never again! I brought 3 friends from the states in last week and all of our choices were wonderful! One friend wants to come back to Aruba just to eat with you again! We all purchased the sauce pkgs to bring home and were thrilled when the airline managed to not destroy them! I couldn’t get a steak on the grill fast enough to slather the chimichurri garlic sauce on it! Of course it can’t compare with your steaks but it was close! Do you sell this online yet? the night before hurricane Lenny came into aruba was our 1st visit to ElGaucho’s.It was the best meal I think I’ve ever had.The steak was so tender ,you didn’t need a knife to cut it.On our cab drive home the driver said …low clouds….we had no idea what that meant…we were still thinking about the wonderful meal and service we just had. Within a couple of hours LENNY hit our hotel and our room. We had to be evacuated to another place.You still couldn’t take away our memories of EL GAUCHO’S. We came back for another meal two days later.With every visit to Aruba we come back for another great meal and we’ll be there again the 1st week in december.Keep up the good work.See you in decmber

I had the 35 oz Poterhouse steak and my finance had the Rib Eye and they were AWSOME!! Green Sauce was also very good!!! Maserati!

We love El Gaucho! I have been
coming to Aruba for many years and one of the highlights is dining at El Gaucho. We have neve gotten a bad meal and always have wonderful service.

Best steaks on the island by far. While staying at the Marriott Resort, my wife and I had dinner at the “new” Ruth Chris at the Marriott, same ole same ole….go to El Gaucho!!! Great service, food and priced very well.

The best steak I ever ate in my life. There is no where in NJ or NY you can get a steak like the ones you serve. My husband and I eat there at least 4 nights out of the week that we stay in Aruba. Your food is truely the best I ever ate!! I think that is why we come to Aruba almost ever year for our vacation!!

When I visited your site I was a little disappointed to see there was no way to buy your steak and chimmichurri sauces. You should bottle them. You can’t get anything nearly as good in the states.

Fantastic. Wish they sold the garlic sauce (garlic/cilantro/parsley – going to try and experiment to make it, the waiter said that it had “11 ingredients”).
Nelson @ Garufa (their bar across the street) also makes the best drinks.

Thank you for a wonderful experience. The first time we visited your Grill House we had such a great time that we come back every year and bring others with us to enjoy the great food and service. I loved the idea of giving your couples a free bottle of wine on Saturday night. We are planning to come back again this June 21st 2008 just the two of us. I hope the free bottle of wine with dinner is still an option!! I also hope the second floor will be open for dinner……Great Job..!!

Hi! We have been to your restaurant many times and think it is one of the best restaurants in Aruba. All of our meals have been excellent. There is one of your deserts that I think is wonderful and that is the Chocolate Fudge Layer Cake. I would like to make something similar for my family.
